This was such a fun and memorable experience! I came with my husband and a friend, and we had an amazing time from beginning to end. The instructor was very patient and explained every step clearly, even for people who had never worked with mosaic art before. There were so many beautiful colors and patterns to choose from, and it was really fun creating something completely unique. We laughed a lot, enjoyed the atmosphere, and absolutely loved seeing our finished pieces come together. I would definitely recommend this workshop for couples, friends, birthdays, or anyone looking for a creative activity.

An absolutely wonderful experience! We had so much fun creating our mosaic pieces and learning about the process. The studio had such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire workshop. I especially loved that we could choose our own colors and design instead of simply following a template. It made the finished piece feel really personal. Even if you don't consider yourself artistic, this is an activity that anyone can enjoy. It was one of the most memorable experiences we had during our visit, and I would happily do it again.

I took my mom here for her birthday, and it turned out to be such a special gift and experience for both of us. We wanted to do something together rather than simply going out for dinner, and this workshop was perfect. The whole process was explained step by step, and we never felt rushed. There were so many beautiful glass pieces and colors to work with, which made choosing our designs really enjoyable. We spent a few hours talking, laughing, and creating something together. It was such a unique experience, and now we have something beautiful to remember the day by.

My daughter and daughter-in-law chose this workshop as something they wanted to do with us for their birthdays, and I am so glad they did! From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The workshop was very well organized, and the instructor made the whole process easy to understand. We had plenty of time to experiment with different colors and patterns and create our own designs. It was wonderful spending quality time together while doing something creative. Everyone in our group had a great time, and we left with beautiful pieces that will always remind us of our day together

The studio was beautiful and had such a positive atmosphere. It was also a great activity because we could enjoy conversations with our friends while working on our projects. This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip! We booked the workshop with a small group of friends and had such a wonderful afternoon together. Everything was prepared for us, so we could focus on designing and creating our pieces. There were so many colors, shapes, and patterns that it was difficult to decide what to use! The staff were extremely helpful without taking away from the creative process. Seeing everyone's finished artwork was probably my favorite part because every piece looked completely different. It was relaxing, fun, and something we will all remember for a long time.

I absolutely loved this workshop! It was the perfect combination of creativity, relaxation, and spending time with friends. The instructions were clear and the staff were incredibly friendly. I really appreciated being able to create my own design and choose every little detail. At first I thought making a mosaic lamp would be difficult, but the process was much easier and more enjoyable than I expected. The finished piece turned out beautiful and feels so much more meaningful because I made it myself. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.

We had such a wonderful time at this mosaic workshop. I booked it as a group activity and everyone in our group absolutely loved it. The studio was welcoming, the materials were beautiful, and the instructors were very helpful throughout the whole experience. There was something really satisfying about starting with a completely blank design and slowly watching it turn into a finished piece. We had plenty of time to talk, laugh, and enjoy the creative process without feeling rushed. This is definitely an experience I would recommend for birthdays, family outings, date activities, or simply trying something new.

What a beautiful and unique experience! I have done plenty of craft activities before, but this one felt completely different. We were able to choose our own colors and patterns and create something that reflected our individual style. The instructor was wonderful and made sure everyone understood what to do while still giving us plenty of freedom. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and there were so many beautiful examples around the studio for inspiration. I really enjoyed the entire process and was so happy with how my finished piece turned out.

About This Mosaic Lamp Workshop in Atlanta, GA

Art N Melody's Turkish mosaic lamp workshop in Atlanta brings a centuries old craft into a single, guided session. You'll sit down at a table already set with a working tray, a pattern chart, three styles of glass tiles and matching beads, and a toolbox with mosaic glue, tweezers, gloves, and a grout packet. From there, a professional artist walks you through the process: choosing your colors, laying tiles onto your glass globe or glass candle holder, and filling in the gaps with beads until your pattern is complete.

This mosaic lamp making class in Atlanta, GA is built for people with no art background at all. You can follow the pattern chart exactly or go freestyl— either way, you'll leave with a design that's entirely your own. Sessions run mornings and afternoons on weekends, with two time slots to choose from, so it's easy to build a session around your Saturday plans.

Five project options are available: Candle Holder, Mini Table Lamp, Table Lamp, Swan Lamp, and Moon Lamp. Each one uses the same core technique, so whether you're signing up for a quick candle holder project or a full Moon Lamp, the Turkish mosaic lamp workshop in Atlanta gives you the same hands-on instruction and the same relaxed pace.

A live music performance runs throughout every session, alongside complimentary Turkish coffee served in patterned porcelain cups and fresh baklava. By the end of your 2.5 hours, your artist will demonstrate the grout process and send you home with printed instructions — grouting is done at home once the glue has had 10–12 hours to dry, so you get one more short step before your piece is ready to display.
