About This Mosaic Lamp Workshop in Atlanta, GA

Art N Melody's Turkish mosaic lamp workshop in Atlanta brings a centuries old craft into a single, guided session. You'll sit down at a table already set with a working tray, a pattern chart, three styles of glass tiles and matching beads, and a toolbox with mosaic glue, tweezers, gloves, and a grout packet. From there, a professional artist walks you through the process: choosing your colors, laying tiles onto your glass globe or glass candle holder, and filling in the gaps with beads until your pattern is complete.

This mosaic lamp making class in Atlanta, GA is built for people with no art background at all. You can follow the pattern chart exactly or go freestyl— either way, you'll leave with a design that's entirely your own. Sessions run mornings and afternoons on weekends, with two time slots to choose from, so it's easy to build a session around your Saturday plans.

Five project options are available: Candle Holder, Mini Table Lamp, Table Lamp, Swan Lamp, and Moon Lamp. Each one uses the same core technique, so whether you're signing up for a quick candle holder project or a full Moon Lamp, the Turkish mosaic lamp workshop in Atlanta gives you the same hands-on instruction and the same relaxed pace.

A live music performance runs throughout every session, alongside complimentary Turkish coffee served in patterned porcelain cups and fresh baklava. By the end of your 2.5 hours, your artist will demonstrate the grout process and send you home with printed instructions — grouting is done at home once the glue has had 10–12 hours to dry, so you get one more short step before your piece is ready to display.
