Plan a Turkish Mosaic Lamp Experience
Bring friends, family or colleagues together for a guided Turkish mosaic workshop with Art N Melody in the Atlanta area. Each guest creates a personal mosaic design using colorful glass tiles and beads. An experienced instructor demonstrates the process and helps throughout the session, so no previous art or crafting experience is needed.
What Happens During a Workshop?
The experience takes approximately 2.5 hours. Start by choosing colors and arranging glass tiles on your selected glass project. Pattern guides offer a starting point, or you can create your own arrangement. After the tile placement, the instructor demonstrates how to fill the spaces with beads to add texture and detail.
Materials and tools are provided. Turkish coffee, baklava and live music are part of the workshop experience. At the end, take home the mosaic project you made, a grout packet and printed instructions. The glue needs about 10 to 12 hours to dry, so the final grouting step is completed at home after the instructor explains the process.
Choose a Public Session or a Private Event
Individuals, couples, families and small groups can join an available public workshop. Guests ages 7 and up are welcome. Project options include a candle holder and four lamp styles: mini table lamp, table lamp, swan lamp and moon lamp. Available dates and project choices are shown on the booking page.
For a birthday, celebration or team outing, ask about a private workshop. Most private bookings are for 10 to 20 guests; arrangements for other group sizes depend on availability and event needs. Contact the team to discuss your group, preferred date and project choices before making plans.
