During this fully guided 2.5-hour experience, every guest—including the birthday person—creates their own handmade Turkish mosaic project by choosing from four lamp styles or a candle holder. How the Workshop Session Runs
Phase 1 – Tile Placement
Each guest begins by selecting a lamp style or candle holder before arranging colorful glass tiles onto the glass surface. You can follow one of our pattern guides or create your own original design. During this creative phase, complimentary Turkish coffee and fresh baklava are served while live music creates a warm and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the workshop space.
Phase 2 – Bead Placement
Once the tile design is complete, the instructor demonstrates how to place colorful beads between the tiles to add depth, texture, and character. Every project develops its own unique personality based on the colors and patterns chosen by its creator. Live music continues throughout this stage as guests complete their designs.
Wrap-Up – Grouting at Home
Because the adhesive requires approximately 10 to 12 hours to dry completely, the final grouting step is completed at home rather than during the workshop. Before the session ends, the instructor demonstrates the entire process, answers any remaining questions, and provides each guest with a grout packet and printed instructions to complete their mosaic the following day.
